I want to share with you my daytime skincare routine.
It is important to have a consistent skincare routine because with this you will be able to give that much-needed help for your skin.
Now you might be thinking, “I’m already going to my derma, how is my skin not improving?”
The answer to that is, you might not be following your derma’s recommended skincare routine religiously. There will be no lasting effect for you.
Imagine, going out on the daily, for sure the pollution around you will get into your skin. It’s important that you have your skincare routine to take that dirt away off of your skin.
As early as now, you need to take action because you can’t reverse the effects already once it’s damaged.
When I was 11 years old, I started to have pimples. At that time, I found a derma and had 3 months of treatment which went well. I found the proper skincare for my skin type. My skincare products are mostly comprised of botanicals and natural ingredients because that is best suitable for my skin.
I suggest you actually consult an expert to identify the needs of your skin.
Here are the steps to my morning skincare routine:
Wash your face
Wash away all the products you used at night.
Use a toner
Take that excess dirt off. Don’t forget your neck and chest part
Eye gel or eye cream
A little goes a long way. Be gentle around your eyes.
Apply serum
Add moisture to your skin. Works best with fine lines.
Moisturize
Keep that moisture intact. Focus on your dry areas and do not forget your neck!
Sunscreen
Protect the skin you’re in. I suggest a gel-type of sunscreen if you live in a tropical country.
Then voila. It won’t take you more than 5 minutes. Add your makeup as needed.
