Steak lovers, I think we can all agree that a steak meal from time to time can make us feel not only full but also satisfied because they are that good.
When you pair it with some delicious greens and a side of corn? That’s a food adventure that I’m going to be here for!
Now, take your pen and paper and jot this recipe down and let’s get cooking!
What you will be needing:
½ cup of corn kernels
½ tablespoon of olive oil
1 cup of green bell pepper, sliced
1 cup of sliced onion
6 cups of mixed greens, depending on what you prefer
½ cup of diced avocado with salt and pepper to taste
5 ounces of thinly sliced grilled top sirloin steak preferably grass-fed
Good quality Sea Salt and Pepper.
Any amount of tomato salsa
Prepare a frying pan and heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is prepared, add in the onions and peppers and start sauteing for 4 to 5 minutes until you see the onions starting to caramelize. Take it out of the heat and set aside.
Get a large bowl and toss your mixed greens, black beans, corn kernel, avocado, and tomato salsa together. Mix it good and top your salad with your thinly sliced grilled sirloin steak and sauteed veggies. Then, the last step is to enjoy it!
